What MCP is
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants access your tools and data safely. When you connect Dotio to an MCP-capable AI assistant, that assistant can work with your Dotio account on your behalf.
What it means for you
Instead of switching between your AI assistant and Dotio, you stay in one place. Ask Claude Desktop or Cursor a question about your business. It checks with Dotio. You get the answer without ever leaving your chat.
Which AI tools work with Dotio MCP
Any MCP-capable client, including:
- Claude Desktop
- Cursor
- ChatGPT Desktop
- VS Code with MCP extensions
Security
MCP uses OAuth — the same standard as “Sign in with Google.” You approve each connection. You control which company the assistant can access. You can revoke access any time.
