Card declined
Common reasons:
- Expired card — update in the billing portal.
- Insufficient funds — check with your bank.
- Fraud prevention — your bank blocked the charge thinking it was suspicious. Call your bank to authorize it.
- International block — some cards block international transactions by default.
Payment failed repeatedly
After several failed attempts, we pause your subscription. You keep access to your data, but AI stops. To resume:
- Fix the payment issue.
- Go to Settings → Billing → Retry Payment.
Wire transfer
For annual plans over a certain size, we accept wire transfers. Email hello@getdotio.com to set it up.
Disputed charge
If you don’t recognize a charge, contact us before disputing with your bank. Chargebacks can’t be reversed easily and may affect your access.
